The Brown-throated Parakeet is green above with paler yellowish belly and long, pointed tail.

Distinctive brown cheek and upper breast usually quite obvious. Almost always in small flocks.

Dave Bourne: Welcome to Papa’s Travel Blog. Although an avid amateur nature and wildlife photographer for almost forty years it was only twelve years ago, when I finally went digital, that I had the idea to start emailing home blogs about our adventures to our grandkids. The list grew over the years as family and friends asked to be included in the adventures.
