Waved Albatross

The Waved Albatross, like most Albatross, spend most of their lives above open water.

They are the largest bird in the Galapagos with an eight foot wingspan and get their name from the wave like pattern on the adults’ wing.

A rather cool observation was watching them fall off the high cliffs into flight.
