Northern Waterthrush

The Northern Waterthrush is a large but trim warbler with a short, fine bill, rather short tail, and long legs. The bill is smaller than the Louisiana Waterthrush.

The legs are less pink than the Louisiana Waterthrush and the eyebrow stripe is thinner.

Almost always seen foraging near still or stagnant water.

A couple of images of a Northern Waterthrush yesterday in Canatara Park Sarnia.
