One of the truly memorable experiences of a visit to Costa Rica is being awaken every morning by the howls of the Howler Monkeys around the camp.
Howler monkeys are
among the largest of the New World monkeys. They are famous for their loud howls, which can travel
5 km through dense rain forest. These monkeys are native to South and Central American forests.
