We were the only people there to watch and witness as this lion ripped apart it’s kill.
The sound of the body ripping apart with every tug will not be something soon forgotten.
The lion drinks the blood first before it has a chance to evaporate or spill on the ground.
The lion has been listed as vulnerable since 1996 because populations in African countries have declined by about 43% since the early 1990s.
